Get the most from it

Use less than you think. Half a pea-sized amount covers your whole face. This balm is concentrated, and too much is the only way to make it feel heavy.

Apply it last, over damp skin. Freshly misted, or right after your serum or cream. Warm it between your palms until it turns to oil, then press it on — the balm forms a breathable seal that slows water and everything in it from evaporating off your skin. That's the whole trick.

The two-minute mask. Press a pea-sized amount onto clean skin, lay a warm damp cloth over it, cover with a dry towel, and leave it two to three minutes. Wipe gently.

Overnight, go a little heavier. On dry patches, lips, cuticles, or anywhere that needs rescuing, a slightly thicker layer before bed does the work while you sleep.

I'm loving this balm and am using it everyday. I love how it really smoothes my cheeks and forehead. I actually have applied a small amount to my face and neck after cleansing, and left it on overnight, using a warm wash cloth the next morning to clean my face. Amazing.

True to the title

I swear by this product, live in a dry arid climate that gets extremely hot in summer and cold in winter. I use skin savior year round, I just adjust how much or how little I use. I also work on camera, so a lot of make-up products, and days when I’m not working, I feel completely comfy wearing only this and vitamin E serum.
TBH, I use One Love products exclusively on my face, and I’ve never had more clear, glowy, moisturized skin. The last decade of using this skincare line has helped me truly care for my skin. I love everything about it.

All of them. Skin Savior works as a rich overnight balm, a daily moisturizer over damp skin, a two-minute warm-cloth mask, and a makeup remover. It's the reason one jar tends to replace several — and why it travels well.

Will it feel greasy or clog my pores?

Not if you use less than feels natural. Skin Savior is concentrated: half a pea-sized amount melts from balm to oil and presses into damp skin as a thin seal rather than a thick layer. Plenty of people with oily and combination skin use it, though every complexion is different — start small and patch test if you're prone to congestion.

My balm looks melty, or has little beads in it. Is that normal?

Completely normal. Because we leave out fillers and stabilizers, the balm softens, firms up, or forms small beads as temperatures change. It doesn't affect quality or performance. If it melts, stir gently with a clean utensil and refrigerate until firm; beads melt instantly once warmed between your hands. Store it somewhere cool and dark, away from direct sun and heat.
