We formulated our oil-based Botanical C Serum to be different from other C serums on the market. We use Vitamin C ester—also known as ascorbyl palmitate—a more potent source of Vitamin C that is less irritating to the skin and is more moisturizing L-ascorbic acid, a commonly-used source of Vitamin C. It is a great option for anyone seeking a deeply moisturizing, nourishing treatment that has also been tested safe for sensitive skin. In addition, our serum is non-phototoxic, which means it’s safe to wear during the day… something you don’t often find with other Vitamin C serums!

What percent of Vitamin C is in Botanical C Facial Serum?

Our Vitamin C is derived from a combination of Vitamin C ester and from ultra-concentrated, plant-based and bio-available ingredients naturally rich in Vitamin C. These botanical sources of Vitamin C include: Organic Rosehip Oil. Baobab Fruit Oil, Organic Green Tea, Organic Seabuckthorn and Organic Acerola. Because our Vitamin C is derived mainly from botanical sources and Vitamin C Ester (rather than created in a lab) we are not able to calculate the exact percentage of vitamin C.

Magic oil?

I discovered this serum years ago when I received a sample. Just one use and I have been a loyal user. I have no clue what they put in it, but my skin loves it.
I have super sensitive, reactive skin, and have never had an issue.
Recently I went through a tough time with a product giving me and allergic reaction. I decided to cut everything out of my skincare and only use this twice a day. My skin cleared up in about a week!
One downside to this serum is you can not use it anywhere near your eyes, it will migrate and burn.

The perfect serum

Vitamin c is the one thing that’s been missing from my routine and I’m so glad I found this serum. My skin has become so soft, I love the texture of the serum, it feel more on the thicker side as far as serum go but lightweight on the skin.

This is the product that got me into skin care 7 years ago. I saw a difference within the first week- my skin was noticeably brighter and I’ve been using daily ever since. This product was my gateway to all OLO products and there hasn’t been one I haven’t liked. I religiously use the vitamin C and E serums, their previous vitamin A serum, vitamin D moisture mist, vitamin B cleanser and vitamin C body polish. Petition to bring back the vitamin A and to keep the vitamin E serum and C body polish! Obsessed with OLO is an understatement.

Perfect addition to my facial routine

I had been wanting to add Vitamin C to my facial routine but hadn't settled on a good serum until this one. It doesn't dry out my skin and feels nourishing putting it on. I have sensitive skin so was concerned about irritation but I've no negative reaction to this. Sometimes I need a moisturizer after, sometimes not. I love that you can layer it with other products.
