Get the most from it

Use less than you think. Half a pea-sized amount covers your whole face. This balm is concentrated, and too much is the only way to make it feel heavy.

Apply it last, over damp skin. Freshly misted, or right after your serum or cream. Warm it between your palms until it turns to oil, then press it on — the balm forms a breathable seal that slows water and everything in it from evaporating off your skin. That's the whole trick.

The two-minute mask. Press a pea-sized amount onto clean skin, lay a warm damp cloth over it, cover with a dry towel, and leave it two to three minutes. Wipe gently.

Overnight, go a little heavier. On dry patches, lips, cuticles, or anywhere that needs rescuing, a slightly thicker layer before bed does the work while you sleep.

I have been using the Wonder Balm for years and I still love it. I use it in my nightly routine after I cleanse my face. In the winter and dry months, I will use in in the morning and at night. I have used it was a face cleanser in a pinch and have applied to my face for overnight flights. My face feels so hydrated using this.

Mini multitasker 😊

This was one of the very first One Love Organics products I tried over a decade ago, and I’m *so* thrilled to have it back in my routine. Back then, I mainly used it as a face balm, and it worked beautifully. Now, as I prepare to move to a much drier climate, I love knowing I can toss this little pot in my bag and use it on the go—as a lip balm, face balm, or wherever I need a little extra moisture. A Real Skin Savior For Arid Climates

I’ve been a loyal consumer of One Love for over a decade and this was the first product I ever purchased. I live in a desert state, very dry and cold in the winter. It keeps my skin hydrated all year long, I just use less in the summer. It feels like a dream and perfect for travel!

Great for travel!

I’m still figuring out how I want to incorporate this into my routine but I know it will have a lot of functions and make it easy to travel with less product. So far I’ve mainly used as a makeup remover for light makeup. While it feels very nourishing it definitely required a second cleanse (I used the Easy Does It Foaming cleanser) to get my waterproof mascara fully off my lashes. I have combination skin that dries out easily and gets oily in the t-zone so while this may not be an everyday moisturizer for me I do look forward to trying it in the winter when my skin needs a little more protection from the dry air. As with all the other OLO products I’ve tried, it leaves my skin happy and healthy!

Will it feel greasy or clog my pores?

Not if you use less than feels natural. Skin Savior is concentrated: half a pea-sized amount melts from balm to oil and presses into damp skin as a thin seal rather than a thick layer. Plenty of people with oily and combination skin use it, though every complexion is different — start small and patch test if you're prone to congestion.

My balm looks melty, or has little beads in it. Is that normal?

Completely normal. Because we leave out fillers and stabilizers, the balm softens, firms up, or forms small beads as temperatures change. It doesn't affect quality or performance. If it melts, stir gently with a clean utensil and refrigerate until firm; beads melt instantly once warmed between your hands. Store it somewhere cool and dark, away from direct sun and heat.
